Apple CEO launches new iPad into 'post-PC' world

Technology enthusiasts the world over had their eyes on Apple Inc. Wednesday, as the company announced a new iPad.

In the live blog below, Globe Technology editor Shane Dingman joined guest blogger Peter Nowak, who reported live from the Apple event in San Francisco with all the details, and some photos of the new device.

As @omarelakkad tweeted: iPad synopsis - Better display, better processor, (much) better wireless, new camera. Comes out March 16. Same price, same size.
