Despite a lot of gab in recent years about the decline of International CES (formerly called the Consumer Electronics Show), it is still a must-attend showcase of the hot gadgets heading to market over the next 12 months. Globe and Mail technology reporter Omar El Akkad is bravely attempting to cover most of the 33 football fields worth of pavilions, and reporting live on the awesome, the absurd and the plainly confusing things he sees.
