Howard Akler: 'How do you keep churning out these books so fast?'

Howard Akler’s 2005 debut novel, The City Man, was a finalist for the First Novel Award, the City of Toronto Book Award and the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize. Globe Books columnist Stacey May Fowles wrote that his new memoir, Men of Action, recently published by Coach House Books, “might actually be the best book I’ve read all year.” He lives in Toronto.
