Across the U.S., demonstrators took to the streets on Friday to protest the murder of Tyree Nichols, a 29-year-old Black man, at the hands of five Memphis police officers earlier this month. The video depicting the brutal beating of Nichols was released on Friday, prompting widespread outrage and condemnation of the officers' actions, and renewing calls for police reform and accountability.
