Harley-Davidson’s first electric motorcycle

Harley-Davidson's first electric bike will be on display at the Motorcycle Show-Toronto, taking place Friday through Sunday at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place. Harley's exhibit includes a Jumpstart Demo, a simulated ride that does not require a motorcycle license.

She rides night

Programming on Friday including demonstrations, celebrity appearances and speeches aimed at women, the fastest growing market segment for motorcyles. Women are admitted for half price after 5 p.m. Speakers include Valerie Thompson, a seven-time land-speed record setter; OPP Sgt. Lise Grenier the ride master of the Golden Helmet precision riding team; Toni Sharpless, who partnered with Kathleen Cockburn to become the first women to finish the Daytona 200; and Jenn Martin, co-ordinator of Georgian College's training program.

Stunt riding

Nick Brocha and Aaron Twite perform street bike freestyle tricks. Brocha's chase adventure videos have generated more than 100 million hits on YouTube.

Yamaha riding academy

Available to children ages 6-to-12, instructors and gear provided.

Draw

One person will win a 2015 Triumph Special Edition.

More than 400 bikes are to be on display plus ATVs, side-by-side motorcycles and scotters.

The show moves on to Montreal the following weekend.
