(9 a.m. ET) U.S. S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index for August. Consensus is an increase of 0.1 per cent from July and a 5.1-per-cent increase year over year.
(10 a.m. ET) U.S. Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index for October. Consensus is 102.8, down from 103.0 in September

(8:30 a.m. ET) Canada industrial product price index and raw materials price index for September. Estimates are declines of 0.2 per cent and 6.6 per cent, respectively, from August.
(8:30 a.m. ET) U.S. initial jobless claims for week of Oct. 24. Estimate is 263,000, an increase of 4,000 from week of Oct. 17.
(8:30 a.m. ET) U.S. real gross domestic product (advanced) for the third quarter.  Consensus is an annualized rate increase of 1.6 per cent. For GDP deflator, consensus is an annualized rate increase of 1.5 per cent.
