Today, we look at Acerus Pharmaceuticals Corp. The share price surged to $0.25 on August 24 on no apparent news, but retreated some since. Nevertheless, the stock is up about 60 per cent over the past three months, ahead of the INK Canadian Insider Index (up about 6 per cent). On August 16, director Luc Mainville acquired 1,000,000 shares at $0.09. Last month, two other directors also bought a combined total of 375,000 shares between $0.09 and $0.14. On August 23, vice-president Nathan Bryson bought 60,000 shares at an average price of $0.16.
