Sprott Inc. has declared a special dividend of 60 cents per common share for the year ended Dec. 31, 2010, and expects a second payment in the near future.
The investment management company said Monday that the first payment is payable Feb. 3.
Once its financial statements have been audited, Sprott expects its board of directors will make an additional unspecified payment.
Together, the two payments will represent payments for the entire of the performance fees earned for the 2010, it said.
