ASHFORD HOSPITALITY TRUST ANNOUNCES SALE OF WORLDQUEST RESORT ORLANDO FOR $14.8 MILLION

DALLAS, Aug. 1, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Ashford Hospitality Trust, Inc. (NYSE: AHT) ("Ashford Trust" or the "Company") today announced the sale of 79 owned units as well as the public space at the WorldQuest Resort in Orlando, Florida for $14.8 million ($187,000 per owned unit). The property was unencumbered by debt, and the net proceeds from the sale will be used to pay down the Company's corporate financing.
