(“CVR Energy” or the “Company”) (NYSE: CVI) today announced net income of $165 million, or $1.64 per diluted share, on net sales of $3.1 billion for the second quarter of 2022, compared to a net loss of $6 million, or 6 cents per diluted share, on net sales of $1.8 billion for the second quarter of 2021. Second quarter 2022 EBITDA was $401 million, compared to second quarter 2021 EBITDA of $102 million.
