HOUSTON, Feb. 2, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN) ("Main Street") is pleased to announce the closing of the issuance of an additional $50.0 million in aggregate principal amount of investment grade notes (the "Notes"). The Notes are being issued pursuant to a supplement to the Note Purchase Agreement dated December 23, 2022 between Main Street and the purchasers party thereto. The Notes are unsecured and bear interest at a fixed rate of 7.53% per year, payable semiannually, mature on December 23, 2025 and may be redeemed in whole or in part at any time or from time to time at Main Street's option at par plus accrued interest to the prepayment date and, if applicable, a make-whole premium.
