Produced on Vancouver Island in preciously small quantity, this light red is unlikely to surface at your local store in Neepawa, Man., or Shediac, N.B. But it deserves a nod for those who can find it in British Columbia. Light-bodied and crisp, it hints at raspberry, plum and black pepper backed by light, fine-grained tannins. Burgundian in style, it would match well with grilled salmon; bluegrouse.ca.
