Theme: Abandoned. Reason: The use of the natural window light makes it feel like no one has turned a light on for a long time in this abandoned home. The reader has to look closely at the image to find the subtle clues of abandonment: peeled paint, misplaced cushion, aging wallpaper. It's a subtle but strong image.
