Police say a man has been shot and killed on a reserve in northern Saskatchewan.

RCMP say shots were fired Tuesday morning near the Ahtahkakoop Cree health centre.

Mounties say a man wearing camouflage was spotted leaving the scene on an ATV.

They have not confirmed whether the man is connected to the shooting.

No other shots have been reported on the reserve, which is about 165 kilometres north of Saskatoon.

Mounties are asking people from the First Nation to stay inside their homes.
