An arrest warrant was dropped Tuesday for a young man who lied to authorities about growing up in an isolated cabin.

Kyle Horn, who was nicknamed with his 16-year-old brother the 'bush boys of Vernon,' has returned to the United States, immigration officials said Tuesday.

A warrant was issued for Mr. Horn, 23, on Monday when he failed to attend a meeting with immigration officials.

The brothers fled their California home for the Okanagan last year after learning Roen Horn would be hospitalized because of his eating disorder.

The pair, calling themselves Tom and Will Green, told Vernon residents they were raised in virtual isolation in the backwoods near Revelstoke, B.C.

The ruse was discovered Friday and the brothers met with their parents in Vernon on the weekend.

Roen Horn, who still suffers from an eating disorder, is being cared for in Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

Canada Immigration manager Daryll Cannan said he cannot discuss the case because he is a minor.

But Mr. Cannan said Canada Immigration does not remove people from hospitals to send them back to their native country.
