Another candidate is poised to jump into Ontario's Progressive Conservative leadership race Monday.

Ottawa MPP Lisa MacLeod says she will issue a statement of intent with a campaign launch set for Oct. 19.

It was widely expected MacLeod would enter the race to succeed Tim Hudak who resigned after the Tories were mauled in this year's provincial election.

She joins caucus mates Christine Elliott, Vic Fedeli, Monte McNaughton and Conservative MP Patrick Brown.

The vote will be held May 9th.
