Toronto police are checking video surveillance in their search for a suspect in a downtown shooting incident.

A man in his 20s is in serious but stable condition in hospital after the shooting late Tuesday.

Police say the victim was found with three gunshot wounds outside a highrise apartment building (at Wellesley and Parliament Street) around 10 p.m.

Authorities say the man was conscious and breathing.

No arrests have been made but police are reviewing video surveillance in the area, since it's believed the incident may have been caught on camera.
