Toronto police have identified a man killed in a weekend shooting they say was targeted.
Police say 33-year-old John Ignagni was the 44th homicide victim of the year.
They say officers received reports of a motorcycle collision on King Street W at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Police say when paramedics arrived they found Ignagni in an underground parking garage with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say they are looking for a person of interest, described as a white man wearing a dark bicycle helmet, who was seen leaving the area on a bicycle.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.
