U.S. President Barack Obama, the first African-American to hold that office, spoke Aug. 28 at the 50th anniversary celebration of the day Civil Rights Movement leader Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his iconic "I Have a Dream" speech at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
