A shooter opened fire at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, at about 9:30 a.m. Friday morning, killing 26 people, including 20 children. This appears to be one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history. It comes after a series of shooting rampages in the United States this year that have killed multiple victims. Here is a list of the ten most deadly mass shootings in U.S. history.
