Ron Baruch, Chair of the Board, North York General Foundation
The Board of Governors of North York General Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Baruch as Chair of the Board.
Mr. Baruch, with a background in real estate law, is the Principal and Executive Vice President of Paradise Developments, established in 1972 and one of the GTA's leading residential building and development companies. He brings nearly a decade of significant volunteer experience from his time with the U.J.A. and his most recent experience as a board member with Ve'ahavta, a Canadian Jewish humanitarian and relief organization. Mr. Baruch joined the North York General Foundation Board in 2011 and has since served as Vice Chair of the Development Committee, Chair of the Nomination and Governance Committee and over the past year functioned as Vice Chair of the Board.
The Board also welcomes six new governors: Steve Apostolopoulos, David Hicks, Adam Kardash, Sandra Keeley, Antoinette Sorbara, Dr. Peter Stotland and Campaign Executives Jeremy Freedman and Jim Zhang.
