Rossana Di Lieto, Vice-President and Chief Compliance Officer, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan

Ron Mock, President and CEO, the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Teachers'), is pleased to announce the appointment of Rossana Di Lieto to the role of Vice-President and Chief Compliance Officer. Ms. Di Lieto reports to Melissa Kennedy, Senior Vice-President, General Counsel & Corporate Affairs.

Ms. Di Lieto joins Teachers' from the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), where she was Vice-President, Registration and Complaints & Inquiries. Prior to that, she was Associate General Counsel for the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) and began in private practice in corporate and securities law. Ms. Di Lieto is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an M.B.A. and a B.B.A. in corporate finance from York University's Faculty of Administrative Studies (now the Schulich School of Business).

With $140.8 billion in net assets as at December 31, 2013, Teachers' is the largest single-profession pension plan in Canada. An independent organization, it invests the pension fund's assets and administers the pensions of 307,000 active and retired Ontario teachers.
