LISTING AGENT Boris Kholodov, Royal LePage Real Estate Sevices Ltd., Johnston & Daniel Division

The Action: This two-bedroom-plus-den corner penthouse is among the largest and most expensive units at Concord CityPlace, so it took a few months for serious buyers to emerge after 30 visitors toured the interiors.

What They Got: On the 36th floor of the west tower in the Apex complex, this 1,693-square-foot suite occupies a southeast corner with walls of windows surrounding a tiled, galley-style kitchen and open living and dining areas with walkouts to two balconies.

Along one side of the unit is a den and master bedroom with a walk-in closet and five-piece ensuite, which is the largest of three bathrooms.

Monthly fees of $1,083 pays for utilities, cable and common gym, indoor pool, party and recreation rooms. A locker and parking complete the unit.

The Agent's Take: "The size was definitely the biggest selling feature and the price per square foot for a newer building is relatively affordable, which made it appealing to those seeking the space," said agent Boris Kholodov. "Mostly younger professionals value the location of this property."

Even the placement of this unit on the top floor has its allure. "It's larger and more airy with high ceilings," said Mr. Kholodov. "Because it is on the higher floor, the views to the south were especially spectacular."
