Visitors to Saskatoon Mayor Don Atchison's office better have their best bib and tucker on if they want his attention.

The city's new mayor, who owns a men's wear store, has brought in a dress code for anyone who drops into his office. Jeans, T-shirts and sandals are out -- a clean shirt and tie are in. The code applies to women as well, but it's not defined specifically. Mr. Atchison says he's tired of seeing delegations arrive in casual wear, adding that formal clothing helps focus people's thoughts.
