Chris Griffiths

Chris Griffiths started his first business at the age of nineteen.  Since then, he has started or acquired 6 other companies including Garrison Guitars, a multi-million dollar acoustic guitar factory which he started from scratch in 1999 sold to Gibson Guitars in 2007.

Griffiths has a diversified range of Board experiences including a Director of Newfoundland Power where he also served as its Chair of Audit and Risk.  Griffiths has also served as the Chairman of the Canada Export Advisory Committee to the Minister of International Trade; the Chairman of the Music Industry Association of Canada; Director of the Canadian Youth Business Foundation; and a frequent volunteer to other organizations including the JUNO's, Canada's Top 20 Under 20, the St. John's Board of Trade as well as the Association for Manufacturing Excellence.

Chris Griffiths currently operates a boutique business consulting practice where he works with companies of all sizes to develop and commercialize new products, grow their businesses and implement Lean Enterprise Practices in all aspects of their operations.  Chris has consulted with musical instrument companies, software companies, shoe manufacturers, the fashion industry, consumer products companies and a start-up with a proprietary wave energy device.

When not traveling the world in support of his clients, Griffiths resides in the small, lakeside town of Grafton, Ontario with his wife of 14 years and his three young children; Jack, 12; Paige, 9; and Quinn, 7.
