Eddie Shore, Boston Bruins defense star, is shown being carried from the ice at the Boston Garden, Dec. 12, 1933, after he had been knocked down by Red Horner of Toronto. Horner struck Shore after the latter had "checked" ce Bailey, Toronto winger and sent him to the ice badly hurt. Bailey suffered a fractured skull.
