Forward Aaron Palushaj has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Montreal Canadiens.

The 22-year-old restricted free agent scored his first NHL goal and added four assists in 38 games with the Canadiens last season.

He also had 15 goals and 20 assists in 35 games with Hamilton of the AHL.

Montreal acquired Palushaj from the St. Louis Blues in 2010 in exchange for Matt D'Agostini.
