Disgruntled Montreal forward Sergei Kostitsyn will join the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs after all.

Kostitsyn attended Bulldogs practice on Tuesday, ending a nearly week-long holdout.

The 22-year-old ignored agent Don Meehan's advice and refused to report when he was assigned to Hamilton a day before the start of the NHL regular season. Kostitsyn has asked to be traded to another team.

Kostitsyn was not in top shape when he reported to camp after nursing an injury in the off-season and then ran afoul of new coach Jacques Martin by missing a bus to a pre-season game in Quebec City.

He played in three pre-season games, scoring one goal.

Kostitsyn had eight goals and 15 assists in 56 games for Montreal last season and had 13 points in 16 games with Hamilton.
