I just received word from a source in Sweden that Peter Forsberg will be playing for his country at the Karjala Cup in about 10 days time. Here's the details:
Nov. 8: Sweden-Russia Nov. 8: Czech Republic-Finland Nov. 10: Sweden-Czech Republic Nov. 10: Finland-Russia Nov. 11: Russia-Czech Republic Nov. 11: Finland-Sweden
It's expected this event will be a tuneup for Forsberg en route to a return to the NHL around midseason.
