The Los Angeles Kings have signed forward Kyle Clifford to a five-year contract extension.

He has three goals and seven assists to go with a team-leading 66 penalty minutes.

The 24-year-old forward has played his entire NHL career with the Kings, with 25 goals, 33 assists and 462 penalty minutes in 333 games. He was a second-round pick of the team in the 2009 entry draft and part of the franchise's Stanley Cup championships in 2012 and last year.
