Canada missed out on rugby sevens Olympic qualification after falling 21-5 to the United States at the NACRA Sevens Cup final on Sunday.
The United States, as the winner of the Cup, guaranteed itself a place at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
The Americans converted tries from Perry Baker, Danny Barrett and Maka Unufe en route to a 21-point advantage. Harry Jones scored a try for Canada.

Canada started the day with a 36-0 victory over the Cayman Islands in the pool stage. Mike Fuailefau had two tries for the Canadians.
Canada then secured its spot in the Cup final with a 34-0 win over Mexico. John Moonlight starred with a hat-trick of tries – two of which came in the first period.
