Scientists in New Zealand got a rare glimpse at an intact colossal squid on Tuesday. Using a forklift to manoeuvre the 350-kilogram beast into a tank, the team examined the female animal that had been recovered in December, 2013, in the Ross Sea. The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa livestreamed the examination. Have a look.
