LOUIS, July 27, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Peabody (NYSE: BTU) today reported net income attributable to common stockholders of $179.2 million, or $1.15 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2023, compared to $268.5 million, or $1.68 per diluted share in the first quarter. The second quarter results included a $33.7 million provision for losses at NARM and Shoal Creek. Peabody had Adjusted EBITDA¹ of $358.2 million in the second quarter of 2023 compared to $390.6 million in the prior quarter.
