Announced the appointment of its Chief Executive Officer Vernon Baker to the Company's Board of Directors, effective immediately. Vernon was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Jaguar on August 6, 2019, following an extensive search conducted by the Company.With today's appointment of Vernon as a Director, the Board now consists of eight members, six of whom are independent. Jeff Kennedy, Chairman, commented that after over four years as Chief Executive Officer, Vernon's additional contributions as a member of the Board will be valuable. Jaguar Mining Inc. shares T.JAG are trading unchanged at $1.76.
