The iShares 1-3 Year Treasury Bond ETF seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of U.S. Treasury bonds with remaining maturities between one and three years. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the ICE U.S. Treasury 1-3 Year Bond Index. The Underlying Index measures the performance of public obligations of the U.S. Treasury that have a remaining maturity of greater than or equal to one year and less than three years. As of May 31, 2009, there were 47 issues in the Underlying Index.
