This parfait is an easy-to-prepare and tasty breakfast. Consider making it the night before and chilling it in the fridge overnight for a quick, healthy start to your day. It also makes a light dessert.

2 cups low-fat (1 per cent milk fat or less) plain or vanilla yogurt
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon lemon zest
2 cups mixed berries, fresh or thawed
½ cup slivered almonds
In a small bowl, combine yogurt, honey and lemon zest.
In four parfait glasses, layer berries, almonds and yogurt mixture.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
