Montreal restaurant Bouillon Bilk co-owners Mélanie Blanchette and François Nadon, created this cocktail using their secret coriander limonade (made with limes) recipe.

Ingredients

1 ounce coriander limonade

1 ounce vodka

3 ounces dry white wine

2 ounces soda water

A generous splash of brandy

Method

To make your own limonade, mix store-bought lime juice with diced coriander leaves. Combine it with vodka and wine (Blanchette uses sauvignon blanc) in a martini shaker, shake well and strain into a tall, narrow Zombie glass over crushed ice mixed with diced coriander leaves. Add soda water, finish off with a splash of bourbon and garnish with a large lime wedge.
