A blend of white grenache, roussanne, marsanne and viognier, this is a classically enticing southern-French white. Medium-bodied and waxy, it shows a slight aromatic-musky essence of white table grape, orange rind, candied pineapple and buttery toast. Nice on its own but it should pair well with roast chicken or medium-weight fish dishes. Great value; $15.70 in Quebec.
