This is the entry-level chardonnay from an excellent boutique producer that specializes in higher-end, single-vineyard, Burgundian-style chardonnays and pinot noirs. Medium-bodied, it shows a delectably fleshy texture with an edgy, slightly grainy backbone, offering notes of musky, aromatic pear and apple. Very versatile at the table.
