The Okanagan's warm 2015 growing season no doubt helped imbue this marvellous white with an especially luscious, ripe quality that might best be described as seductive. A blend of chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, viognier, sémillon and muscat, it was partly fermented in French-oak barrels for added richness. Medium-full-bodied and almost – but not quite – off-dry, it's plump with suggestions of pineapple, peach, pear and lychee, lifted by whispers of spicy ginger and toasty oak. Perfect for liver pâtés, Asian dishes, ripe cheeses or even gamy meats, such as lamb. Available direct from the winery, tinhorn.com.
