JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater leaves a correctional facility in the Bronx after posting bail, Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, in New York.

Steven Slater wasn't just a terrible JetBlue flight attendant. He's terrible at other things, too. Like rapping.

If you'll recall, Slater made headlines this summer when he yelled obscenities at airline passengers aboard the flight he was working on before grabbing two beers and leaving the plane by way of its emergency slide. The meltdown may have made him the envy of disgruntled workers the world over, but it's safe to say his newest venture won't win him much love in the hop-hop community.

These skills can't possibly pay the bills.

"If you've got an iPhone or an iPod Touch, Line2 is going to help you out oh so much," Slater raps in a new video to promote - sorry, "pimp"- a texting app.

He also informs viewers that "I'm a rapper now," which hardly seems necessary. I mean, it's a rap song.

This may be the worst instance of a celebrity turning to music since Bruce Willis released his 1987 album The Return of Bruno.

At least Willis was a genuine star. Slater is just proof that once you've hit bottom you can actually go even lower by trading on whatever Internet fame you might have.

Then again, Slater's cringe-inducing lack of skills isn't as bad as Miley Cyrus's rap explaining why she quit Twitter.

Some people just shouldn't rap. Nobody clap. That's a wrap. Word to your mother.
