Toronto police say they've located a dog they believed was a key in a Toronto homicide investigation, but say two suspects haven't been found.

Police released video Monday of two people they identify as Clyde Marshall of New Brunswick and Sabrina Chouart of Quebec, who are wanted in the death of a Kleinburg, Ont., man.

The video shows a man and a woman with a large brown dog walking down the hall of the eighth floor of the Toronto apartment building where police say Sina Parsi's body was found on Friday night.

Det. Shawn Mahoney had said it was believed the pair were travelling with the dog and were likely hitchhiking rather than using the train or bus because of the animal.

But police now say the dog was abandoned in Toronto and they believe Couhart and Marshall, who are wanted on a first-degree murder warrant, have been travelling without the dog since early Saturday.

Investigators say the dog was found tied to a post and was brought to animal services in west Toronto.
