Yvan Attal directs and stars in Do Not Disturb, an absurdly sexy French take on Lynn Shelton's acclaimed Hump Day (2009). The script stays remarkably true, but Attal's imagining is peopled with beautiful women: Laetitia Casta plays his wife, while Charlotte Gainsbourg and Asia Argento appear as a glam, fauxhemian pair who both titillate the audience and instigate the plot.

Ben (Attal) reunites with his "Jacques Kerouac" of a best friend, Jeff (Francois Cluzet), and on a dare, agrees they'll make an amateur gay porno flick. In the original, the awkwardness of two straight guys doing it was heightened by America's morality and Shelton's realist style. In this more erotic French version, it feels like: who cares? Just do it. Also, nobody believes that real Frenchmen say "French kiss."
