My World 2.0

Having conquered the world - or at least the tweener population - with the first of his My World albums, the pride of Stratford, Ont., stakes his claim to the old-enough-to-drive set with My World 2.0. Like its predecessor, the 2.0 version is packed with bass-pumpin' synth beats, squeaky-clean falsetto harmonies, and gosh-I-love-you lyrics; the upgrades include more songs (10 instead of eight), more cameos (including a spot by Ludacris, who's positively adorable rapping about seeing his girl on the playground), and slightly more hip-hop cred. At this rate, it should take four more albums before Bieber's music fully appeals to adults, but hey - at just 16, the kid's got plenty of time.
