Car companies and their dealers value loyalty and are often willing to put a price on it. So how much?
In the case of the Audi A8, $10,000. That's the loyalty bonus an existing Audi owner is eligible for when trading in or up to an A8, which by the way is quite a spectacular luxury sedan. Throw in a $15,000 available factory incentive and perhaps nearly $6,000 in negotiated dealer discounts and the total price reductions on a $108,000 premium saloon burst through the $30,000 ceiling.
At Jaguar, the price of loyalty if you buy an XKR coupe is $4,000. On top of that, Jag has a $12,500 factory deal on the table and if you're a corporate titan accustomed to tough bargaining, you'll likely get all of nearly $8,000 in estimated dealer discounts.

Let's pause a moment. We're looking at total discounts on a combined two models that exceed a possible $50,000. Amazing.
But there are more deals of note for this summer's luxury car shopper. BMW has a $15,000 sales sweetener on the 650i xDrive Gran Coupe, plus a potential $5,000 in the form of a dealer discount. And the Mercedes-Benz SL550 is also in play with a $15,000 incentive, as well as a perhaps as much as $7,500 in a dealer discount.
All told, then, the four deals this week combine for $90,000-plus in potential discounts. These deals can in whole or in part be combined with financing as low as 1.90 per cent. You will need to check with your dealer, of course, for the details. When you're there, rest assured the dealer can put a dollar value on your loyalty and the savvy shopper will receive all of it.
