A blend of equal parts cabernet sauvignon and merlot, with 10-per-cent malbec, from the Côtes de Bourg appellation in Bordeaux. Medium-full-bodied and bone-dry, with a pleasantly grainy texture carrying flavours of cassis and dark chocolate along with intriguing minty-herbal overtones, black pepper and bright minerality. Excellent, classic regional structure and profile for the money. Available in Quebec.
