Established in 1991 after communism's fall, Boyar invested heavily in equipment and expertise and saw the potential in export markets, including, not least, Canada. This traminer is medium-bodied and dry, with a soft, rounded centre and gewürztraminer-like notes of lychee and ginger along with whiffs of rose petal and musky melon. Well done.
