Every parent who celebrates Christmas has struggled at one time or another with what presents to get their kids. Video games? They might like that. Action figures? Could be good. A doll house? Maybe. Books? Not for this kid.

This little three-year-old tyke has got a pretty good pile of presents judging by the sight of the Nintendo Wii under the tree. But when he tears open the wrapping paper of one gift to discover books -books!- he goes ballistic.

"Books? Books for Christmas? What the heck is that?" he says. "That's not toys, that's books!"

He's got a point. Books aren't toys. But are they really so bad that getting some for Christmas can trigger a foot-stomping fit? Apparently so.

His parents don't seem to mind, judging by the sound of their laughter.
