Palace guard banned after calling Kate a 'stuck-up cow'

By now, we all know the dangers of failing to self-edit on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. Not Cameron Reilly.

The 18-year-old elite Scots Guard has been removed from duty for the royal wedding, after ranting about Kate Middleton on his Facebook page, the Daily Mail reports.

Mr. Reilly railed against Ms. Middleton after he felt she had snubbed him.

"Her and William drove past on Friday and all I got was a ****y wave while she looked the opposite way from me, stupid, stuck-up cow. Am I not good enough for them! Posh b****. Who really gives a f*** about her?" he wrote, according to the newspaper.

Mr. Reilly, who regularly patrols Buckingham Palace, had been assigned to participate in the royal wedding celebrations on Friday. However, a spokesman for the Scots Guards told the Daily Mail they are now investigating claims against Mr. Reilly.

More troubling than his rant against Ms. Middleton, however, are the soldier's racist online remarks.

"Watching a massive Jew gathering at the Tower of London! Have never seen so many rabbis in my life," he wrote about one of his palace patrols on Facebook, to which a friend replied: "Get the rifle out…"

The Daily Mail says he also described London as a "Paki holding cell," and posted numerous photos of himself in combat gear and holding rifles, as well as one of himself kissing a vodka bottle.

Hurling insults against Prince William's bride-to-be on Facebook is no doubt an unwise move for a Scots Guard.

But given Mr. Reilly's other disturbing online remarks, we wonder: How did he get to be a palace soldier in the first place?
