Occupy Nova Scotia protesters say they have not yet decided whether to heed a request to leave a public square in front of Halifax City Hall.
Mayor Peter Kelly has asked the group to move to another space by Nov. 6 so that Grand Parade can be cleaned up and readied for Remembrance Day ceremonies.
Protest spokesman Stuart Caldwell says the mayor's directive came as a bit of a surprise and they haven't worked out a response yet.

Caldwell says they are hoping to set up a dialogue to see if they can't reach some sort of compromise.
He says they've already spoken with police and military officials about ways to share the space that would address everyone's needs.
About 70 people have been camping out in the square for the past two weeks.
